Adam Walter Retires

Philadelphia CCC's longest serving player, Adam Walter, bowed out of his 37 year playing career with the club today, in the HLSL fixture with Hetton Lyons.

Adam scored a very dogged 18 runs in his side's defeat at the Lyons ground. He was given a rousing standing ovation by both sets of players, officials and spectators alike when he left the field after being bowled out.

His presence on the field will be sorely missed by all his team mates and everyone at Philadelphia wishes him a long and happy retirement from the game.
